Cablecast 4.7.6 Release Notes ========================================================= * Bug 2918 | Calendar control is displayed "behind" gaps in schedule -The schedule calendar should now be displayed on top of the schedule. * Bug 3013 | Default database includes extra channels -The default Cablecast database now includes the correct "default channel", and no longer includes two additional channels. * Bug 3026 | X-List leaves gaps between shows, resulting in "To Be Announced" on TV Guide -You are now given a choice of text for gaps in programming, defaulting to "Community Bulletin Board" * Bug 3081 | Live streaming encoder won't restart encoding -The Live Streaming Encoder will now properly restart streaming after it is told to stop. * Bug 3084 | TCDIP CM may append additional "r1" to forced filekeys -The TCDIPCM will no longer add an additional "r1" to the file key for playback. Previously, forcing playback of "12345r1" would actually try to play "12345r1r1". * Bug 3085 | TCDIP CM is not smart about naming recorded files on TCDRP -The TCDIPCM will now always create files with a reel number in the filename. Previously, it was possible to record a file with a filename that would make in inaccessible for playback, since the name did not contain a reel number. * Bug 3096 | VOD Files-Unaccepted Characters Cause Problems -VOD Transcoding will now remove problematic characters from the file name before transcoding the file. * Bug 3158 | Some control modules still require licensing -Several Control modules that at one point required a license, were still requiring the license, This issue has been addressed. * Bug 3164 | DSKEngine fails to locate Cablecast server under rare circumstances -The DSKEngine will now be able to locate the Cablecast server, even with a poorly configured DNS server. * Bug 3165 | LGXMiniTProCM may fail to fire some events -Resolved an issue that would occasionally prevent the LGXMiniTProCM from firing events. * Bug 3203 | Control Modules are smarter about serial port management -The control modules now handle simultaneous events better. * Bug 3204 | Remove setting status to "Checking..." between updates in small force menu -The small force menu no longer says 'Checking' between updates. * Bug 3231 | Deleting formats are able to be chosen to reassign shows. -It is no longer possible to select the format you just deleted as the replacement format for existing shows. * Bug 3242 | Control Modules occasionally fail to log events -Control Modules will now wait in line to access their log files, instead of trying to log events simultaneously. * Bug 3243 | RossAVMCM delays FadeUp and FadeDown commands -A problem was discovered that would cause Fades to happen late when using the RossAVM Control Module. This issue has been corrected. * Bug 3244 | VDCPCM Can get hung up under rare circumstances -The VDCP Control Module now handles communication errors more gracefully. * Bug 3245 | Knox64CM does not get status from Knox64i Routers -The Knox64CM now works correctly with Chameleon64i routers. * Bug 3251 | RSS schedule now allows you to return the pubdate (show schedule) as the localized time -You no longer need to convert a show's start time from UTC when consuming the schedule's RSS feed. * Bug 3308 | Added mime type support for .rss, .ics, and .mp4 files -The Cablecast Installer will now add the correct MIME types for .rss, .ics and .mp4 files. These will no longer need to be manually configured. * Bug 3382 | 'X-List creates duplicate entries for CG spanning midnight -X-List output will no longer include two entries for runs that cross over midnight. * Bug 3422 | Manual and record events appear on public website -The WebService was erroneously returning entries for schedule and record runs on the schedule. This made the public site display these runs as well. The WebService now skips non-show runs.
